The best friend duo Anne and Tanya may have said good-bye to “The Amazing Race Canada,” but in their hearts they walked away as winners.

“We feel like winners for our children, I have a 6-year-old and Tanya has a 5 and 10 year old. They were super excited to see us doing this and watching us on TV -- we hope that we can inspire them,” says Anne.

“We do feel like winners, although we do wish the outcome was different,” adds Tanya.

Although these single moms are amazed at what they have accomplished on the race, they are afraid for what will happen when their children are 40-years-old and doing this to them.

After repelling down the Calgary tower and munching on a special Vietnamese delicacy on Tuesday’s episode, these supermoms hope that their experience on the show will also inspire other moms.

“To all of the moms and dads out there, it’s hard running a race every day and that’s why Tanya and I felt that we could do this because as parents we run an amazing race every day of our lives,” says Anne.

As Anne and Tanya read their tweets live, they couldn’t help but feel the support from their fans.

“Add Anne and Tanya to the list of strong, intelligent and kick a** women on ‘The Amazing Race Canada’ this year,” one fan tweeted.

These inspiring moms may have come to the end of their journey on the show, but they feel so blessed for being given this amazing opportunity.

“We were so lucky to have been able to run this race together.”

Tune into watch the action-packed series Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CTV!
